This year, hundreds of volunteers raised over $2,236,393 for the Monadnock United Way. The funds are distributed to programs assisting local people based on the needs of the community. The fund distribution decisions are made by a group of over twenty knowledgeable community volunteers from throughout the region.

The money raised in the Monadnock Region stays in the Monadnock Region.  Of every dollar pledged in this year’s campaign:

• 82.9% is budgeted to programs, agencies and community services.

• 6.3% is budgeted to accommodate unfulfilled pledges, such as those resulting from shrinkage.

• 10.8% is budgeted to the Monadnock United Way for operating expenses.
